Hello everyone. I hope you all are doing well. While teaching recipes to beginners, how can we forget to teach about making bread? As a beginner, it’s tough to make bread for the very first time. Today we will help you to make simple Lacha paratha for breakfast. I know You must haven eaten Lacha paratha at many restaurants.
Make Lacha paratha at home with flour and oil. Also, we are mentioning some ingredients that we are using in this recipe. Take these ingredients and start the step by step process.
Ingredients for Lacha Paratha
- All-purpose flour one cup
- Baking soda small spoon
- Salt half tsp
- Oil/ghee 3 large spoon
Prepare the dough for Lacha paratha
For Lacha paratha, we need to prepare the dough, so take one cup all-purpose flour and put into the bowl also put one small spoon of baking soda. Put half tsp salt as well. We will put 2 large spoon oil or ghee. Now mix all the ingredients and knee the dough.
While kneading the dough continuously add water. Kneed well until the flour is soft. Now cover the dough and leave it for 10 minutes.
Make balls of the dough
After five or ten minutes take the dough and make small balls out of it. Now take the balls and then press the ball with help of a roller and make it thin. Also, take one spoon ghee and apply on the bread as you can see in the picture below.
Now roll it layer by layer just like the we are doing in the picture.
After rolling layer by layer now again roll with the shape of ball.
Press with help of roller same like we are doing.
Now take a Tawa and put some oil and then put the thin dough on it.
Now it cook . after some time change the side and put some more oil.
