So, I am back with the new recipe, which is taro chicken recipe. You must have eaten chicken but not taro, right? So get ready to prepare the taro chicken recipe, so take the mentioned ingredients and follow the instructions.

Ingredients for Taro chicken recipe

  • Chicken 1 kg
  • Onion 2 medium size
  • Red chilli 1 tsp
  • Salt as for taste
  • Whole spices 1 tsp
  • Turmeric half tsp
  • Ginger/garlic powder 1 tsp
  • Tomato 2 medium size
  • Taro roots half kg
  • Green chilli 4 to 5
  • Oil half cup
  • Green coriander
  • Green chilli

How to make Taro chicken

Prepare the masala

For making taro chicken Recipe, take a pan and half cup of oil. Now heat up the oil and take two medium-size onion and cut it. Then shadow fry the onion and then add 1 tsp ginger/garlic powder. If you do not have ginger/garlic powder, then you can add the paste. It will not affect the taste.

So then add one tsp turmeric. Make sure the heat of the stove is medium and add one spoon of red chilli. If you eat less chilli, you can decrease the quantity. Take two tomatoes and cut it into a small piece and put in the pan. Then take four to five green chilli and cut them freely don’t cut too thin and put one tsp salt in the pan.

We are using one kg taro in the recipe, and half kg chicken so adds spices accordingly. After adding spices mix all together, put a small bowl of water so that the tomatoes are well cooked and soft, now covering the pan for five minutes. After five minutes the tomato will be well cooked, and spices will be mixed then remove the lid. If tomato decreases the water, then mix it with the ingredients.

Put the chicken

Now take the chicken and wash it. After washing the chicken cut it into small pieces. You can also add boneless chicken if you want. So, cook the chicken well in the spices when the chicken is cooked. Take taro and cut it in cubic shape. Now put it and cook at medium flame for the next twenty minutes. Add half litre water and cover it. You can add more water if you want to make broth. Now cook for twenty minutes and finally, it looks quite delicious after cooking.
