What do you eat for breakfast? A bread with gam or other stuff. What if I teach you a unique breakfast recipe that is famous as well as delicious? Hello everyone I hope you all are doing well. Today we are going to make a chana puri recipe for breakfast. In this recipe, we make chickpeas with a break which is quite different from other recipes. I have mentioned the list of ingredients we need for this recipe. So take these ingredients and follow the instruction.

Ingredients for chana puri recipe

  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Soda ½ tsp
  • Turmeric powder half tsp
  • Slat 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Whole spice 1 tsp
  • Ginger 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder half tsp
  • Coriander leaves and green chilli 1 cup
  • Tomato 1 medium size
  • Garlic 1 tsp
  • Oil half cup
  • All purpose flour half kg
  • Semolina 50 gm
  • Yogurt half cup
  • Chickpeas half cup
  • Onion one medium size
  • Water 1 glass

Prepare the dough for the bread(puri)

As you know we will make bread for breakfast with chickpea so first prepare the dough for the bread. So take the bowl and put half kg all-purpose flour, 50 gm semolina, soda half tsp, half tsp salt, Oil 4 tsp and half cup yogurt. Now mix it same like we do while preparing the normal bread. Prepare the dough for about 15 minutes and put some oil then leave it for some time.

Prepare the chickpeas

Take the oil or ghee and put in the pot. Then take two medium size onion and cut it in tinny pieces and put in the pot. Fry it till it change the color to light brown. Also put 1 tsp cumin seeds and fry it with onion. Now put all the spices in the pot. Put 1 tsp red chilli powder, half tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp whole spice, 1 tsp ginger and 1 tsp garlic powder. Mix all the spices with onion and  fry it. Then take one medium size tomato and cut into small pieces then put in the pot and mix it.

After preparing the masala now put half cup boiled chickpeas. Make sure to boil the chickpeas before putting in the pot. After cooking for some time our chickpeas are ready. So, garnish it with coriander leaves and green chilli.

Make the bread (puri)

Now take the deep frying pan then put some oil/ ghee and let the oil heat up. Take the dough and make the balls. After making ball now with the help of roller make it then and give it a shape of bread. Put the bread in the oil and cook for 5 minutes then change the side and cook other side.
